This is what our front yard looks like today, January 13th, 2010. What a view, eh?? They are still working on the sewer pipes on the other side of the tracks and that is amazingly noisy. The HUGE machines are just on the other side of our arbor vitae and the noise permeates the house. Thankfully, they don't start until 8 AM and they take a break for lunch. Still, we will be thrilled when they are done.
After the sewer work is completed, then they begin on the Springwater Corridor Trail which I'm hoping will be less noisy. Only another year and a half to go and they should be done...
